The Court of Appeal has lifted an injunction that had stopped the Interim Independent Electoral Commission from conducting the Kamukunji by-election. The court ruled that the High Court had issued the order on the eve of the Kamukunji by-election, thus denying the IIEC a chance to appeal.

I love going on a nice long hack with my pony and friends , I couldn’t believe it when the other day I was cantering over the fields with my friend and my stirrup leathers broke! It’s a good job we weren’t going too fast and that my pony is very reliable. When I got off I’d noticed it had completely snapped in half which was a little shock. I always clean my tack and check for damage but I suppose that considering I didn’t spend a lot of money on the stirrup leathers that they just weren’t going to last a long time. I decided that the next pair I purchased would be high quality and that it would be better spending more money and knowing that I was safe with long lasting stirrup leathers.
When I went to the shop I also decided to purchase some new stirrup irons which had a safety catch on them. Due to my new far with my stirrup leathers breaking I thought it would be sensible to also have some safety stirrup irons incase I was ever in a similar situation again. Again they weren’t cheap but any money is worth the safety in the saddle.
In a news conference yesterday, President Obama urged congressional leaders to leave partisanship and point-scoring aside and deliver a balanced approach to deficit reduction. “We’re going to resolve this, and we’re going to resolve this for a reasonable period of time, and we’re going to resolve it in a serious way,” the President said.
